Recent Projects

Blog Posts:

Here’s some recent blog posts that I wrote for KPMG LLP’s ongoing Reality Check series. The professional services firm assigned me to ghostwrite, edit and add creative verbiage to existing content that highlights recent research and thought leadership, and is timely and relevant for the predominantly C-suite audience (CEO, CFO, CIO, etc.). I always provided remarkably quick turnaround with my copy, which included infographic suggestions. Internal metrics demonstrated the popularity of these search-optimized blog posts that were promoted on LinkedIn. I enjoy writing blogs because I like imagining myself in the thought leaders’ shoes, conveying key messages in their voice in attention-grabbing ways to targeted users. Business disruption, data analytics, customer centricity and new technologies were among the “hot” topics I listed below.

Issue Briefs:

The following are some sample issue briefs that I wrote for KPMG LLP. As a generalist writer, I was assigned to draft pieces that covered topics for the C-suite target audience, such as cyber security, new technologies, management consulting, and emerging risk issues, and industries such as automotive and industrial manufacturing. The pieces were drafted either based on: 1. raw data and written entirely from scratch, 2. collaboration with thought leaders I interviewed, or 3. content that needed heavy editing and enhancing. The more collaboration with all invested stakeholders, and the deeper understanding of the reader “personas,” the better the outcome of the deliverable. This content was promoted on LinkedIn and distributed externally at client meetings and global conferences. I received several positive testimonials from internal clients on these deliverables outlined in the links below.

Articles:

These KPMG LLP article samples include conference recaps I covered in person and wrote from scratch, or edited based on existing drafts, for KPMG’s targeted clients. Also, I wrote similar recaps for the internal audience. In addition, I wrote and edited articles often distributed in newsletter format that covered “hot” topics in Advisory, such as forensics, risk management and IT security for very specific audiences. Usually the pieces were based on existing content that needed heavy editing and enhancing.
