I’m an accomplished communications / content professional, writer / editor and journalist based in Bergen County, New Jersey, with more than 25 years of experience working in global professional services and editorial environments (including 16+ years of combined experience at KPMG LLP).
I thrive when working collaboratively with marketing, communications, risk management, technology and other groups throughout every project lifecycle phase. My T-shaped skills in both modern team collaboration and content strategy allow me to reach across the organization. At my core is the cutting-edge process of deeply understanding target groups and gleaning the end users’ valuable insights. I take a journalistic approach to interviewing and rely on new marketing methodology findings.
I’m a fluid writer, adapting content in any environment, to satisfy my end user reader or content group. I can take content and shape it around any given target audience, and mold it towards a variety of deliverables.
Most recently, I’ve had the role of Associate Director, Content Creation at KPMG for the past four years. Prior to this role, I worked at AIG as Senior Writer, Internal Communications. Before that, I worked at KPMG LLP for 12 years, where I served in several various roles, including Manager of Global Brand and Regulatory Compliance, Manager of Internal Communications and Senior Editor of KPMG's Insurance Insider.
Prior to joining KPMG, I worked in the newsrooms of National Underwriter newspaper, Private Label magazine, 16 magazine, KBC Publications and Community Life newspaper as a writer and editor. I received my double B.A. degrees from Rutgers University in Journalism / Mass Media and Russian.
For fun, I enjoy ballroom dancing, playing the piano, and brushing up on my foreign languages in my aspiration of becoming a polyglot. Also, I’m an active volunteer at Neighbors-helping-Neighbors USA and at my local synagogue.
